Dating Dead Edomite Dudes
The journal Antiquity recently published an article by Thomas E. Levy, Russell B. Adams, Mohammad Najjar, Andreas Hauptmann, James D. Anderson, Baruch Brandl, Mark A. Robinson and Thomas Higham (is that all?) about the Edomites and one of their cemeteries. You can read the entire article in .pdf format here or a brief summary here. What is interesting is that it provides solid data for the Edomites in the Iron I period, and also I like excavated this cemetery with Levy and Adams way back in 1997. Rock on Area H!
