Are Bible Scholars Really Necessary?
For 2000 years some of the best minds have been researching the Bible, soooooo my darlings, is there anything new that the academic discipline of biblical studies (if it is academic at all?) can say? Is it possible for biblical scholars to reclaim the Bible from all of the other discipline? Is the Bible even relevant in secular environments?
