Mummies and Shrinkage
Like, remember back in 1968 when those Liverpoolians X-rayed the mummy of Tutankhamon? Well, they thought something was missing. They couldn’t find his, well, ahem… genitalia. Some even thought that looters stole it and sold it to collectors. Heehaw. Well, some good news, I guess… Zahi Hawass has anounced that using a CT scan, they have found what was believed lost. It turns out there is major shrinkage with mummification. There is a famous ancient Egyptian story about how Seth chopped Orisis into little bits, and that Isis put Orisis back together again, but ultimately couldn’t find his penis. Perhaps Isis could have used a CT scanner.
