David Noel Freedman, one of the most prolific and influential Bible scholars who ever lived, passed away yesterday. Jeff and I had the privilege of studying under Professor Freedman at the University of California, San Diego. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

Bibledudes’ favorite Moses, and accomplished Ben-Hur chariot racer, Charlton Heston, passed away over the weekend. Thanks for the memories Mr Heston.
