David Noel Freedman (1922-2008)
David Noel Freedman, one of the most prolific and influential Bible scholars who ever lived, passed away yesterday. Jeff and I had the privilege of studying under Professor Freedman at the University of California, San Diego. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.
